The company's operations base is in Rome and has full project management, data interpretation and workshop facilities to support survey operations.
Portable Multichannel Seismic survey equipment spreads, to be rigged on vessels of opportunity, are based also in Baku (Azerbaijan), Cairo (Egypt), Abu Dhabi (Emirates) and West Africa.
Fugro Oceansismica is ISO 9001: 2000 certified and utilises the Fugro Survey Division standard working practices.
HSE& QA
As part of the Fugro Group, Fugro Oceansismica has adopted HSE related norms and standard working practices that were already enforced by other Group’s Companies.
The Company complies with health, safety and environmental measures as required by law, and also acts positively to prevent injury, ill health, damage and loss arising from its operations.
This is achieved through the implementation of an HSE Management System which is integrated with the Company's Quality Management System and directly controlled by an HSE Co-ordinator.
All offshore personnel are trained on Accident Prevention, Firefighting, Survival and Rescue by a specialised firm and according to IAGC and IMO's requirements for North Sea operating personnel
